Job summary

ACO, Inc. is seeking a Distribution Material Handler to pull, package and load material for customer orders, using hand, forklift, or pallet jack. Duties include organizing pallets, attaching shipping labels, loading trucks, and ensuring inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow simple instructions.
• Basic math skills required for counting and invoicing.
• Certified Forklift Operator preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pull, package and load material for customer orders.
• Pick material by hand, forklift, or pallet jack using picking slips.
• Arrange material on pallets and deliver to packing area.
• Label, strap, wrap, and box shipments as directed.
• Maintain inventory and locate materials per production orders.
• Prepare shipping labels and attach to packages.
• Load trucks and verify bill of lading with materials.
• Complete forklift daily maintenance and keep areas clean and organized.
• Serve as back-up for Receiving Department as needed.
