Job summary

Weyerhaeuser Distribution in Billings, MT is seeking a Forklift and Building Materials Operator to join our growing team at the new Billings Distribution Center. This hands-on role moves building materials, loads/unloads trailers, and performs outdoor tasks with a focus on safety and accuracy.

You’ll develop product knowledge, work with a team, and rely on basic math and computer systems to support daily warehouse operations while adhering to safety guidelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• No forklift experience required — we train you.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and move up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate propane/gas forklifts to move building materials safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload trailers and rail cars.
• Perform manual labor in outdoor environment (55–65% of day).
• Accurately count, record, and document shipping/receiving activities.
• Develop knowledge of building material products and warehouse operations.
• Uphold safety standards and speak up when something doesn’t look right.
• Use basic math and computer systems to support daily operations.

We currently have an immediate opening for a Forklift and Building Materials Operator — a hands‑on role that’s perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors, being part of a team, and making a real impact every day.

What You’ll Do
