Job summary

Harvesters is seeking a Class A Driver to support our warehouse operations in Kansas City, MO. This full-time role features no overnight travel and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities include moving product, replenishment in picking locations, and ensuring accurate inventory and safety compliance. The job requires lifting up to 50 pounds and frequent walking in a warehouse setting.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years in a warehouse, preferably food industry, strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Replenish pick locations using the AGI Replenishment app.
  • Complete full pallets as needed.
  • Transfer stock from Receiving/VOC/Returned to stock; separate frozen and refrigerated product.
  • Maintain inventory records and assist in physical inventories.
  • Operate material handling equipment safely; assist with maintenance.
  • Maintain a clean, safe workspace and follow safety policies.

This is a Monday thru Friday position.

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for accurate movement of all product.

SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Replenishments- Replenishing pick locations using the AGI Replenishment app.
  2. Full Pallets- Completing full pallets as needed.
  3. Put-Away-Accurately transfer all product from Receiving, VOC, and Returned to stock product. Keeping chemical product separate from food product. Keeping Frozen and Cooler product under safe storage conditions
  4. Inventory- Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security and maintained. Assist in physical inventories. Ensure proper stock rotation
  5. Equipment-Operate material handling equipment in a safely manner. Assist with material handling preventive maintenance.
  6. Safety and Sanitation- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Conduct operations in a manner, which promotes safety. Comply with OSHA, SDS standards, and harvesters Safety and Sanitation policies.
  7. Other duties as assigned.
OTHER ASPECTS OF THE JOB
  1. Able to effectively communicate and interact with coworkers, managers and customers/clients.
  2. Demonstrate a commitment to the mission and values of Harvesters.
  3. This position functions in an office and warehouse environment and requires travel within the warehouse areas. It requires the use of general office equipment such as telephone, computers, calculators, fax and copiers and extensive walking across the warehouse and back and forth to the office. It occasionally requires lifting over 50 pounds and lifting of 20 to 50 pounds approximately 5% of the time. Incumbent will spend 80% of the time in a warehouse environment, 20% of the time stationary working at a computer terminal.
  4. This position requires an understanding of all Harvesters food safety policies and compliance with all food safety related procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Required Experience: 1-2 years in a warehouse, preferably in a food industry setting, computer literacy, excellent verbal and written communication skills
  2. Preferred Experience: 2-3 years, certified forklift operator, volunteer work.
  3. Required Education: high school education or equivalent
