Job summary

Admiral Beverage in Gillette, Wyoming is seeking a Forklift Operator to move products and materials in a beverage production environment. Primary duties include operating gasoline, liquefied gas, or electric powered industrial trucks to lift, stack, and transport loads, load/unload, and maintain accurate material inventories.

Candidates should be comfortable with repetitive physical tasks, able to follow safety protocols, and support a team in a fast-paced production setting.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts in warehouse or production settings.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and inventory controls.

Responsibilities

• Drives gasoline, liquefied gas, or electric powered industrial truck to move products and materials.
• Positions forks or lifting devices to lift, stack, or move loads.
• Unloads and stacks materials and ensures correct placement.
• Keeps materials on the floor or production line supplied as needed.
• Records movements per established procedures.
• Lubricates truck and maintains batteries or fuel as required.
• Wears company-provided uniform and safety equipment per policy.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Primary Location:

Gillette, Wyoming

Forklift Operator

• Forklift Operator: Drives gasoline, liquefied gas, or electric powered industrial truck equipped with lifting devices such as forklift, boom, scoop, lift beam and swivel hook, fork grapple, clamps, elevating platform, or trailer hitch, to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equi pment, or materials by performing the following duties.
• Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.
• Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over , or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials or hooks tow trucks to trailer hitch, and transports load to designated area.
• Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.
• Inventories materials on work floor/product ion line, and supply workers with materials as needed.
• Loads or unloads materials in accordance with load sheets or other appropriate directives.
• Records materials loaded and unloaded in accordance with established procedure.
• Loads or unloads materials onto or off pallets, skids, or lifting device.
• Lubricates truck, recharges batteries, or replaces liquefied gas tank.
• Wears Company provided uniform and required sanitation and safety devices as appropriate to comply with safety and sanitation standards for beverage production operations.
• Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time.
