Job summary

Luttrell Staffing Group is hiring for a Production/Manufacturing role focused on forging dies. Responsibilities include machining and assembling dies from blueprints or CAD, and supporting die setup.

You must lift 50+ lbs, read measuring tools accurately, and maintain paperwork alignment with production records. Weekly pay and temp-to-hire options are available in Tennessee.

• Maintain, inspect, and refurbish dies for quality.
• Move dies between areas and assist with die setup on forging presses.
• Read measuring tools and ensure paperwork matches production records.
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and wear steel-toe footwear.

Responsibilities

Job Duties & Requirements for Production | Manufacturing position

• Fabricate and Assemble Forging Dies: Machine and assemble precision forging dies and tooling based on blueprints or CAD models.
• Maintain and Repair Dies and Tooling: Inspect, repair, and refurbish worn or damaged dies to ensure continued performance and product quality.
• Support Die Setup and Operation in Forging Presses: Assist with die installation, alignment, and adjustments on forging presses to ensure correct operation.
• Troubleshoot Die and Tooling Issues: Diagnose and resolve problems related to die performance, part defects, or press malfunctions.
• Ensure Quality and Dimensional Accuracy: Use precision measuring tools to inspect dies and forged parts, ensuring adherence to specifications and tolerances.
• Ability to lift 50 +lbs
• Must have math skills, accurately read measuring tools and be able to match up paperwork for certain positions
• Must be able to move dies from one area to another area of department for certain positions
• Must have steel toes
