Job summary

Bonney Forge is seeking a Tool and Die Design Technician to support the design, development, modification, and maintenance of specialized tooling for forging operations. You will create detailed 3D models, drawings, and documentation using CAD/CAM software, while collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in tool and die design or tooling support.
• Experience in forging, metalworking, machining, or manufacturing environments preferred.
• Experience with CNC machining, tooling fabrication, and tool room operations beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Create/modify forging dies, inserts, trim blades, fixtures, and related tooling using CAD/CAM.
• Develop detailed models, drawings, and layouts to support tooling fabrication and maintenance.
• Support tooling design improvements to enhance die life and quality.
• Interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications to develop tooling solutions.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering to ensure tooling meets production needs.
