Job summary

HANWHA Materials in Midway, GA is hiring a Forge Production Trainee to join our heavy industrial forging team. This hourly entry-level role supports multiple departments, including Forge, Heat Treat, and Coating, with duties ranging from setting up presses to inspecting finished parts.

The position requires flexibility to rotate across departments and to work any shift. A starting wage of $21/hour applies, with potential increases after achieving level 1 qualifications within 3½–6 months, plus

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; Visa sponsorship not available.
• Must be able to work any shift and rotate across departments.
• Subject to pre-employment drug test, physical, and background check.
• Prior manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up presses and assist with die changes.
• Move product in/out of the furnace and check temperatures.
• Operate equipment for machining and inspections; use hand and power tools.
• Coat parts and perform related general manufacturing work.
• Support multiple departments: Forge, Heat Treat, Coating and Conditioning.
