Job summary

Aluminum Precision Products, Inc. in Santa Ana, CA seeks a Blacksmith Manipulator Operator (1st Shift) to setup and operate forging presses, coordinating with the Blacksmith Apprentice. This role progresses through Level 1 to Level 3 with increasing responsibilities.

You will train others, perform in-process inspections, and ensure parts meet quality and production standards while adhering to ITAR. Eligibility requires U.S. citizenship or residency.

Qualifications

• Basic English reading, writing and comprehension.
• Ability to communicate with team members and QC personnel.
• Basic math and measurement skills for quality checks.
• US citizenship or U.S. Person status per ITAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate forging press at console and lubricate die surfaces.
• Instruct Trainee and ensure production of quality parts.
• Maintain accurate part counts and meet production requirements.
• Perform in-process inspection and hand forge operations.
• Train other levels and operate billet saw as needed.
