Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with one year of tree trimming and general maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain City's forests and trees and support parks, greenbelts, landscape, golf course, and city facilities.
• Perform tree care operations including pruning, removal, debris cleanup and disposal.
• Operate heavy equipment (tractors, trucks, aerial lifts, tree spades, wood chippers) and power tools (chainsaws, stump grinders, pruners, hedge trimmers, blowers, tillers).
• Assist with landscaping tasks: blowing leaves, mulching, trash pickup, trail maintenance.
• Plant trees and annuals; document work and coordinate with City staff and the public.
