Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum Education and Experience (E&E) is REQUIRED to qualify for this position.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the organizational expert regarding forestry and fire management for a statewide Environmental Program.
• Manage related activities: Natural Resources, ITAM, Invasive Species, Forestry Management Plan, Integrated Wildland Fire Management Plan, Prescribe Fire, and Fire Training.
• Coordinate with NC Army National Guard facilities statewide, National Guard Bureau (NGB) and other agencies.
• Perform independent research and analysis on regulatory environmental issues and make recommendations.
