Booz Allen Hamilton in Reston, VA, seeks a senior security engineer to implement and operate next-generation cyber defense tools for government and commercial clients. You’ll lead a team to evaluate, deploy, and run solutions that rapidly identify vulnerabilities and threats, and to develop effective countermeasures.
The role requires deep expertise in network engineering, Active Directory, system administration, and the ability to obtain required DoD 8570 certifications.
On our expert team, you’ll perform work focused on implementing and operating next‑generation security solutions for government and commercial clients. You’ll evaluate, implement, and operate leading security cyber defense tools and technologies and apply defense strategies to large and complex networks to rapidly identify vulnerabilities and threats, prioritize response actions, and develop effective countermeasures. You will lead a team as they engineer solutions to complex challenges for customers using knowledge of network engineering, Active Directory, and system administration.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including location, education, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,800.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
