Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a reliable Foreperson to oversee and direct staff, ensuring all functions are carried out productively and on time across site operations in Seattle, WA.

The role requires at least one year of related experience; 18+; no diploma required. You will initiate, plan, schedule, train, enforce safety, coordinate across teams, manage work orders, estimate resources and costs, and maintain materials and labor in the work management system.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required.
• One (1) year of prior related work experience required; on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, plan, schedule and evaluate the work, activities and resources of crews or team members
• Instruct and train employees in performance of duties and proper use of equipment
• Enforce and abide by safety standards and regulations
• Coordinate work across multiple teams on joint projects
• Schedule and assign active work orders and monitors backlog, staffing requirements, staffing capabilities and previous work carryover
• Develop work plans and cost estimates by analyzing tasks and determining resources required
• Estimate cost of direct labor, materials, tools, equipment, and contract services; and track actual vs estimated costs
• Ensure all work-related materials and labor are entered into the work management system
• Enforce departmental policies, procedures and safety rules and regulations
• Supervise and participate in the layout, design, and fabrication of signs
• Write specifications, orders, and maintain an inventory of supplies, materials, and equipment

Pay: $21.30-$25.65/ Hourly. The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant's experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data
