Palomar Health seeks a Registered Nurse for the SART/Child Abuse Program in San Diego County. You will perform forensic examinations, document findings, and collect evidence in alignment with Cal OES forms and Palomar Health standards.
The role requires an active CA RN license, BLS, and familiarity with MS Windows and MS Office tools. The position features a 12-hour shift and the opportunity to help vulnerable victims and their families.

Salary Range: 45.13 - 65.70
Provides direct patient care to victims and suspects of sexual assault for all ages throughout San Diego County. Functions independently to perform forensic examinations, document findings, and collect evidence utilizing the California Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) and department specific forms. Functions within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, National Children's Alliance Child Advocacy Center standards, and adheres to all Palomar Health policies, procedures, and standards. Speak and read English at a level that is sufficient to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position. Knowledge of standard office equipment (i.e., calculator, fax, photocopier) and personal computer and computer software skills (i.e., MS Windows, Excel, Access, Word, Powerpoint, internet, e-mail). Windows computer skills including proficient use of keyboarding, use of mouse or keys for functions such as selecting items, use of drop down menus, scroll bars, opening folders, copying and similar operations required upon employment or within the 1st two weeks of employment to perform the essential functions of the job. Performs other duties as assigned. Follows Palomar Health rules, policies, procedures, applicable laws and standards. Carries out the mission, vision, and quality commitment of Palomar Health.
