Job summary

Ohio Department of Behavioral Health (DBH) is seeking Post-doctoral Psychology Assistants to grow Ohio’s psychologist workforce across regional psychiatric hospitals. You will gain advanced clinical skills, conduct evaluations, assist in diagnoses, and implement treatment plans while collaborating with psychiatrists, social workers, and nurses.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Psychology with psychology pre-doctoral internship before start of fellowship.
• Official transcripts required for all post-secondary education.
• Post-doctoral fellows work towards licensure in psychology.

Responsibilities

• Grow Ohio’s psychologist workforce in regional psychiatric hospitals.
• Conduct psychological evaluations (cognitive, personality, risk assessments) where applicable.
• Assist in diagnosing mental health conditions and developing/treating plans with clinical interventions.
