Job summary

The Chicago School in Chicago is seeking qualified adjunct professors to teach in the M.A. Forensic Psychology: Professional Counselor Licensure Track program. Courses are primarily on-ground with weekly meetings, and some sessions are offered remotely via Zoom or blended formats.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in a related field from a regionally accredited institution.
• Teaching experience preferred.
• Professional experience in area of expertise or course content.
• Commitment to academic excellence, service to the community, research, and diversity.

Responsibilities

• Active participation in lectures and related instructional activities (e.g. discussion forums).
• Creation of lecture materials and classroom activities in accordance with a provided syllabus.
• Timely grading of assignments and providing detailed, quality feedback.
• Being available outside of regular class meetings to address students’ questions and concerns.
• Maintaining communication with department administration and faculty.
