Job summary

Southeast Missouri Mental Health Center is seeking a Psychiatrist to join our dynamic medical staff in Farmington, MO. The service includes an Adult Psychiatric Services unit with Forensic clients and a Sex Offender Rehabilitation and Treatment Services unit, both offering specialized programs.

Teaching, administrative duties, and program development/evaluation can be part of the role. A full Missouri license is required; competitive base salaries and a flexible 40-hour work week with volunteer

Qualifications

• A full and unrestricted Missouri license is required.
• Forensic psychiatry training or experience is preferred.
• Teaching or administrative duties and program development/evaluation may be included in duties.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients in the Adult Psychiatric Services unit and related subpopulations, including forensic and sex offender programs.
• Potential teaching roles through affiliations with nearby medical schools.
• Administrative duties and involvement in program development/evaluation may be included in your duties.
