Job summary

The Southeastern Mental Health Authority seeks a PSRB/Competency Monitor to support individuals under PSRB supervision across Connecticut. This full-time, 40-hour role collaborates with inpatient teams, outpatient providers, residential programs and community partners to ensure safe transitions and continuity of care.

Minimum qualifications include a Master’s degree in a mental health field and three years of related experience; licensure is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a mental health or related health care discipline is required.
  • Three (3) years of experience providing assessment, treatment planning, and direct treatment services.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate comprehensive transition and discharge plans for individuals under PSRB supervision.
  • Collaborate with inpatient treatment teams, outpatient providers, residential programs, and community partners.
  • Ensure continuity of care and effective risk management during transitions.
  • Support individual recovery and facilitate safe movement to community living.
  • Promote long-term stability and connection to ongoing behavioral health services.
