The Forensic Nurse Examiner (FNE) at Children's Colorado delivers forensic medical evaluations for victims of violence across adults, adolescents and pediatric patients. You will collect and preserve evidence, provide STI/pregnancy prophylaxis, and participate in judicial processes as needed.
Minimum qualifications include a BSN, Colorado SA/Forensic Examiner program, RN license and BLS, plus 2 years of ER/ICU/Women's Health/Pediatrics experience.

The FNE performs forensic medical evaluations for the collection and preservation of evidence for sexual assault and other forensic cases. The FNE provides prophylactic therapy per standing order for sexually transmitted infections and pregnancy prevention; and provides follow-up care and is available to participate in the judicial process by providing expert witness testimony.

Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
Hourly Rate of Pay: $49.62
