Job summary

PathGroup is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Forensic Pathologist to join our NAME-accredited Medical Examiner program serving Metro Nashville and Davidson County. You will be part of a large, collaborative team of experienced forensic pathologists within a physician-led organization that values excellence in forensic medicine.

Qualifications

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Forensic Pathologist with license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Perform forensic autopsies and postmortem examinations.
• Determine cause and manner of death.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and provide courtroom testimony when required.
• Collaborate with law enforcement, legal professionals, and investigative teams.
• Ensure accurate and timely case documentation.
• Participate in team-based scheduling and coverage.
