Job summary

Lauth Investigations International is seeking a meticulous Case Manager specialized in forensic genealogy, heir location, and asset recovery to identify, prove, and recover dormant assets held by State Unclaimed Property Offices.

You will build heirship tables, conduct advanced OSINT and records research, and coordinate with state agencies to navigate audits and file complete state claim packages.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in forensic genealogy, probate research, or estate administration.
• Deep familiarity with constructing line-of-descent charts and intestacy laws.
• Advanced OSINT and public records research skills across multiple jurisdictions.
• Track record of gathering physical and certified vital records from agencies.
• Strong organizational skills to manage dozens of active state claims.

Responsibilities

• Architect the Lineage: take ownership of unclaimed property files from discovery to final payout.
• Construct Heirship Tables: draft court-ready family trees mapping line of descent.
• Conduct Forensic Genealogy: verify kinship using vital statistics, census, probate files, and immigration records.
• Execute Targeted OSINT & Skip-Tracing: use OSINT and databases to locate heirs globally.
• Build State Claim Packages: compile identification, probate orders, and continuity proofs for state requirements.
• Navigate State Audits: liaise with State Unclaimed Property Offices as the primary contact.
