Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities is seeking a Health Aide (Part-Time) for Forensics I at Augusta Campus, East Central Regional Hospital. The role involves learning to provide basic patient care and helping clients develop daily living skills.

Under supervision, you will assist with medications, monitor vital signs, and support activities aimed at safety, recreation, and treatment readiness. Night shifts and hourly pay apply.

Qualificações

• Provides basic patient care under supervision.
• Assists with medications and treatments as directed.
• Monitors patient status and reports changes to supervisors.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in administration of medications and treatments, take vital signs and/or draw blood or collect other bodily fluids as directed by a physician or nurse.
• Conduct activities for recreation and socialization to support client well-being.
• Observe and document patient data, behavior and activity; prepare clients for treatment or examination.
• Provide client care by supplying and emptying bedpans, applying dressings and supervising exercise routines.
• Support clients with walking, exercising, and moving in and out of bed.
• Provide subprofessional occupational and/or physical therapy services; transport clients to treatment units.
• Receive additional training to gain full proficiency in all areas.
