Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Evidence Custodian/Casefile Manager based in Forest Park, GA, to support exploitation missions CONUS and OCONUS. You will oversee forensic lab casework, maintain strict evidence accountability, and collaborate with DoD/DOJ agencies to ensure compliance.

The role requires DoD TS clearance eligibility, travel readiness, and strong technical reporting skills, with a comprehensive benefits package and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience or an AS/AA, or 2 years of Tech School.
• High School Diploma or equivalent with 15 years of experience; or military E4+.
• Experience in writing technical reports, justification of technical recommendations and presenting briefs.
• Ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and US citizenship.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an active US Passport and travel CONUS/OCONUS.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Monitor forensic laboratory cases and coordinate with divisions and staff.
• Perform daily tasks with minimal supervision and advise lead of issues.
• Track workload and customer service metrics (quality, timeliness, satisfaction).
• Ensure all evidence handling complies with Army, Federal, and local regulations.
• Maintain 100% accountability of evidence and update submitting agencies on case status.
• Serve as quality control for forensic casework to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assist with policy development affecting lab operations.
• Coordinate with DoD/DOJ and FXD on standardization to improve lab efficiency.
