Pete Fowler Construction Services, Inc. is seeking an MEP Technical Analyst to support a Testifying Expert and learn systems needed for forensic consulting and expert witness work.

This role combines construction/ electrical skills with rapid career development in dispute analysis and project management. The candidate will inspect sites, analyze documents, and prepare detailed reports under expert guidance, aiming to progress toward becoming a Technical Consultant or Testifying Expert.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in the construction industry with emphasis on electrical systems, contracting, or engineering.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Civil/General Engineering, or related discipline.
• Strong ability to read blueprints, architectural drawings, and electrical single-line designs.
• Solid critical thinking and problem-solving to transform field data into actionable information.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Acrobat, and online research tools.
• Ability to perform onsite inspections (climbing ladders, walking active sites, carrying equipment).

Responsibilities

• Shadow the Senior Expert on active cases across commercial, industrial, and residential projects.
• Assist in forensic analysis research and preparation for disputes, injuries, and investigations.
• Learn the frameworks of plaintiff and defense expert casework.
• Attend site investigations to inspect electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
• Document site visits with photos, notes, and diagrams; prepare summaries.
• Review construction documents, drawings, contracts, and logs; extract technical data.
• Prepare and present forensic reports and presentations per PFCS standards.
• Track billable hours and support professional development aligned with licensing objectives.
