The role requires handling hazardous materials, maintaining confidentiality, and complying with statutes. The ideal candidate has an associate’s degree in related fields, one year of forensic experience, and ABMDI certification within two years.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Health Sciences, Criminal Justice, or related field.
• One year of work experience in forensic science or investigations.
• Arizona residents must have an AZ Driver’s License on hire or within 30 days.
• ABMDI certification required within two years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized work with post-mortem examination and collection of evidence.
• Identify and document human remains; maintain records and prepare reports.
• Take photographs, fingerprints, and observe death scenes.
• Transport decedents and secure evidence; coordinate with law enforcement.
