Job summary

Suvi, an Akima company, seeks a Forensic Data Analyst to support a government client in Fairfax and Arlington, VA. You will meet with field users to determine data requirements, perform forensic data collection, and lawfully extract encrypted or inaccessible data from devices in accordance with SOPs. On-site work with federal partners is required.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• 3+ years forensic examinations on mobile devices.
• 3+ years testimony-related professional experience.
• Ability to work embedded with federal law enforcement in high-stress environments.
• Active Cellebrite Certified Mobile Examiner (CCME) certification.

Responsibilities

• Meet with field users to determine forensic data requirements.
• Perform forensic data collection and lawful extraction of data from devices.
• Ensure conformance with government forensics SOPs and regulations.
• Conduct full physical extractions whenever possible.
• Testify for assigned investigations as needed.
• Assist with trial preparation and planning.
• Maintain strict information and evidence handling standards.
• Maintain presence at government facilities.
