Qualifications

  • Associate degree in one of the listed fields and 3 years of crime scene experience or 5 years overall.
  • Must obtain a recognized crime scene certification within 1 year of hire.
  • Experience with digital photography, fingerprinting, and evidence handling.

Responsibilities

  • Process crime scenes to identify and collect relevant evidence for prosecution.
  • Document, package, preserve evidence, and assess for lab testing.
  • Prepare reports and testify in criminal proceedings.
  • Conduct bio-evidence collection and cell phone forensics.
