Job summary

Metric Geo seeks a PE/SE (or strong EI/EIT) with 0–5 years of forensic engineering experience to join our Atlanta team. You will investigate building envelope, roofing, foundation, and fenestration issues, along with storm damage, construction defects, and premise liability matters.

You will conduct day-to-day field observations, prepare technical reports, present findings to clients and peers, support business development, and serve as an expert witness.

Qualifications

• PE or SE license (EI/EIT considered).
• 0–5 years forensic engineering experience.
• Working knowledge of modern building codes and industry standards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly and work at heights on moderate to steep roofs (training provided, fall protection used).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in varied indoor/outdoor conditions, and access attics and crawlspaces.
• Valid driver’s license.
