A leading engineering consulting firm in Spokane seeks a Forensic Structural/Civil Engineer (part-time) to provide forensic consulting expertise. You will investigate structural failures and prepare detailed reports for legal and insurance clients. The ideal candidate has a B.S. in Civil Engineering, a P.E. license, and over 5 years of relevant experience. This position includes local travel and offers competitive hourly compensation ranging from $50.00 to $75.00.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in civil engineering.
• Project Management and/or Field Investigation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct forensic consulting services for various clients.
• Assess causes of structural failures and prepare reports.
• Manage multiple projects and coordinate with experts.

Skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong organizational and time management skills

High level of analytical skills

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications

Ability to read and interpret technical reports

Education

B.S. in Civil Engineering
