Job summary

The Georgia State Government is hiring a Charge Nurse for the Day shift at East Central Regional Hospital's Augusta Campus. The role supervises nursing staff, plans and evaluates care, maintains medical records and guides case management to support ill, injured, and disabled clients.

The successful candidate will have an Associate degree in nursing with an active Georgia RN license and at least four years’ nursing experience, including leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate degree in nursing and Georgia RN license.
• Four years of professional nursing experience with two in a lead/ supervisory role.
• Equivalent experience at the RN3 level or higher may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and guides nursing staff on a unit or shift.
• Plans and evaluates nursing care and maintains medical records.
• Ensures staff assess client health problems and needs.
• Advises clients on health maintenance and disease prevention or provides case management.
