Washington State Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) invites applications for the Forensic Care Associate 1-2 In Training – Nursing Assistant role at Western State Hospital. Current WA Nursing Assistant Registration (NAR) or Nursing Assistant Certification (NAC/CNA) or Medical Assistant (MA) required.
Social science coursework may substitute for behavioral health work experience on a year-for-year basis.

Assist with patient safety and personal care, including health, hygiene, rest, activity, diet, and finances.
Maintain a clean, comfortable ward environment and ensure supplies are stocked.
