• Must demonstrate knowledge of lab safety and quality practices.

Responsibilities

• Performs scientific analysis on evidence submitted for forensic testing.
• Tests and prepares reports on findings for court.
• Reviews work of others for policy and procedure compliance.
• Maintains documentation and prepares court exhibits as needed.
• Communicates with law enforcement and prosecutors; potential witness in hearings.
