Job summary

FTI Consulting is seeking a Director for its Technology Consulting practice to deliver customized programming solutions across forensic automation, electronic discovery, and data analytics. The role blends leadership with hands-on technical work.

You will lead end-to-end ML and data science projects for enterprise clients, build scalable pipelines, and present findings to C-suite clients and law firm partners. A background in information governance and digital forensics is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5 years experience related to industries or services related to the Electronic Discovery Reference Model and familiarity with forensic technology software
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline or related field
• Fluency in Python and hands-on experience creating customized solutions with advanced Python packages
• Experience with APIs and collecting data from cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Navigation of cloud-based enterprise systems (M365, Google Workspace, Slack)
• Hands-on experience developing, tuning, and validating ML models, including hyperparameter optimization and model interpretability
• Strong communication skills to align client needs with solutions and communicate to non-technical stakeholders
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States full-time; visa sponsorship not available

Responsibilities

• Scope project goals with stakeholders and define success metrics
• Lead end-to-end ML and data science solutions for enterprise clients
• Design, develop, and deploy predictive models and ML pipelines
• Present technical findings to non-technical audiences including executives and partners
• Build reusable components to enable scalable delivery across client engagements
• Develop and deliver training programs on forensic automation and cognitive technologies
