Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior forensic accounting professional to lead complex investigations, fraud risk assessments, and litigation support engagements in a fast-paced advisory environment in San Francisco.

You will manage restructuring assignments, supervise a team, mentor associates, strengthen client relationships, and prepare detailed reports and presentations while ensuring compliance with professional standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA required; pursuit of CFE recommended.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience in forensic accounting, restructuring, or advisory services.
• Prior experience managing direct reports and leading client engagements.
• Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and financial modeling.

Responsibilities

• Lead forensic accounting investigations, fraud risk assessments, and litigation support engagements
• Manage restructuring assignments including insolvency analysis, turnaround strategies, and creditor negotiations
• Supervise and mentor a team of associates and senior associates
• Provide performance feedback and career development guidance
• Develop and maintain client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders
• Prepare and review detailed reports, presentations, and expert witness documentation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across BPM to deliver integrated solutions
• Ensure compliance with professional standards and firm policies
