Job summary

Ankura is seeking an intern for the Forensics practice to support investigations, accounting advisory, and disputes work. The role involves applying forensic accounting and analytical skills to client scenarios on small, collaborative teams.

The ideal candidate is pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting/Finance with expected graduation between December 2026 and June 2027, and intends to pursue CPA licenses after graduation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027.
• Interest in pursuing CPA license or other advanced certifications after graduation.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply accounting, financial, and analytical skills to various client issues such as detailed analysis of transactional data and financial statements.
• Trace flow of funds, calculate damages, and review revenue recognition procedures.
• Design and implement analysis, investigation, and project workplans; prepare reports for senior staff and clients.
• Document workpapers with clear assumptions, sources, and methodologies; ensure high-quality deliverables within deadlines and budgets.
• Engage with internal Ankura team members and clients; develop productive working relationships and assist in pitches and marketing efforts.
