R.H. White Construction & Service Solutions is seeking a Working Foreman for the Utility Construction Services Division. The role oversees crews performing underground piping installation, maintenance, and repair, and ensures safety and quality on industrial and commercial sites.

Responsibilities include interpreting blueprints, leading crews with precision, and coordinating with project teams. Ability to travel regionally, participate in on-call rotations, and complete company training programs

Position Summary:

The Foreman Utility Construction Services Division- (CSD) leads and performs work, and oversees crews engaged in the installation, maintenance, repair of underground piping systems and Site civil excavation work within industrial and commercial facilities. Interprets blueprints, schematics, and layout drawings to determine detailed work procedures and ensures compliance with safety and quality standards. Utilizes a variety of hand and power tools to perform precise installations and repairs. Responsible for ensuring operational reliability and timely project execution. Required to be available for emergency response assignments as needed and to participate in the CSD Utility Winter Work On-Call Rotation Program.

Hiring Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent and additional specialized training equal to a master craft designation.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in underground construction trades.
• Must acquire and maintain all customer and company specified qualifications, certifications, and training as needed. (These may differ and change per customer and business needs).
• Working foreman should be able to work within precise limits of standards of accuracy and make decisions based on measurable criteria.
• Completion of company training programs and appropriate experience required
• Possess the leadership ability necessary to lead, motivate and direct the work of subordinates.
• Physically, working foreman must be able to work easily and skillfully with hands, lift and carry objects weighing up to 100 pounds, have good vision either naturally or with correction) and stand, stoop, kneel or crouch.
• Must have or be able to obtain (company-provided training) and maintain gas utility installation and services/construction‑related industry Operator Qualifications (OQs).
• OSHA‑10 Certification (company-supported if not current), DOT Medical Card (assistance provided), valid U.S. driver's license, successful drug screen, background check, and motor vehicle record (MVR) review per federal/state regulations.
• Able to travel throughout the New England States and available for on-call service response in emergency situations (rotation).
