Job summary

Primoris Energy Services Corp seeks a Foreman to lead a construction crew, ensure safety, and maintain quality and schedule adherence on project sites across the United States. The role requires coordinating daily operations, reading blueprints, and communicating with project management and clients.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in construction with supervisory experience, OSHA awareness, and strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; associate's degree or trade certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of construction experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
• OSHA 10/30 certification preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate construction workers to meet plans and schedules.
• Enforce safety policies and conduct site briefings and hazard assessments.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings for accurate execution.
• Monitor progress against schedule and report deviations to Project Manager.

Job Overview

The Foreman at Primoris Energy Services is responsible for leading and supervising a crew of workers on construction projects, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. This role involves direct oversight of daily operations, adherence to project specifications, and effective communication with project management and team members.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers, ensuring tasks are completed according to plans and schedules.
• Enforce all company safety policies and procedures, conducting regular safety briefings and hazard assessments.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate execution of work.
• Monitor progress of work against the project schedule and report any deviations or potential delays to the Project Manager.
• Allocate tasks to crew members, providing clear instructions and guidance.
• Inspect work in progress and at completion to ensure quality standards are met and specifications are followed.
• Operate various construction equipment and machinery as needed.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, including progress, personnel, equipment, and materials used.
• Train and mentor new team members on job-specific tasks and safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Resolve conflicts or issues that arise among crew members or on the job site.
• Ensure proper maintenance and care of tools and equipment.
• Order materials and supplies as needed, coordinating with procurement.

Job Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations (OSHA 10/30 certification preferred).

• Proficient in using various hand and power tools common in construction.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Must be able to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
