Job summary

Guy M. Turner, Inc. seeks an experienced working foreman to lead a rigging and machinery-installation crew at our Greensboro, NC site. You will be on job sites daily, directing the crew, loading and moving heavy equipment, and ensuring safe project execution.

The role requires hands-on work and frequent travel to local and regional sites, with overtime and possible overnight stays as needed. Strong leadership and the ability to read lift plans are essential, along with a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in rigging, machinery moving, or machinery installation.
• 2+ years leading a crew or foreman experience in rigging, machinery moving, or machinery installation is required.
• Able to read simple drawings and lift plans.
• Willing to travel, work overtime, and weekends when needed.
• Requires successful background, MVR and drug screening.
• Must currently hold a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Our work is primarily in the local and regional area - not the type of long-term, out-of-state travel done by large contractors. You'll travel to different customer sites as needed, mostly doing day-work and may include overnight travel stay(s) to the site.
