Job description

The Foreman / Field Supervisor at Dream Team Finishes is the daily engine of quality on the jobsite. This role leads direct-hire crews on commercial, hospitality, and industrial finishes projects — turning the Project Manager's plan into a finished reality while holding the standard that Dream Team's reputation is built on.

Every surface the crew touches, the Foreman owns. Every report submitted, the Foreman signed off on. Every safety decision on that jobsite, the Foreman is accountable for. This role requires someone who leads by example, holds the standard without apology, and communicates clearly upward to the PM and downward to every craftsman on their crew.

Core Identity: You are the standard on the jobsite. Every crew member looks at how you show up — and matches it.

Key Responsibilities

Enforce protection sequencing before every shift — mask, protect, and cover all adjacent surfaces before application

Conduct daily jobsite walkthroughs; identify finish defects, substrate issues, or sequencing conflicts before they become rework

Mentor and develop crew members; hold the Dream Team standard in craft quality, professionalism, and conduct

Operate and coordinate access equipment — swing stages, aerial lifts, and telehandlers — with proper certification

Communicate proactively with PM on schedule performance, scope changes, crew capacity, and quality concerns

Uphold Dream Team core values — Vision, Integrity, Relationships, Tenacity, Service — in every interaction

Who You Are

You hold the line on quality without being asked. You don't accept a bad finish from yourself or your crew.

You pick up a brush. You set the pace. The crew watches how you show up — and they follow.

You report daily. You flag problems early. The PM never hears about a field issue from the GC first.

You run toolbox talks. You enforce PPE. OSHA compliance is your personal accountability.

You know where every material is, what each crew member is doing, and what phase is next — always.

Hotel opening dates don't move. You keep the crew focused when the clock is running.

You know what a great finish looks like — and you won't leave until you have one.
