Founded in 1954, Bonitz operates as an employee-owned specialty contractor with divisions across SC, NC, GA, TN, VA, LA, and FL. The Foreman will manage projects from start to finish, ensuring timelines, safety, and precise documentation.

Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Critical thinking, time management, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Experience in managing a construction crew.
  • Active OSHA 30 certification required.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction (dry wall, ceilings, and/or flooring).
  • Ability to read blueprints and specs.
  • Ability to lead and influence peers and clients.
  • Proficient math and computer skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manages projects from blueprints to completion (including time lines).
  • Plans, schedules, and orders material and/or equipment.
  • Develops project layouts and translates blueprints information into actual work.
  • Schedules and coordinates people and resources.
  • Measures effectiveness and productivity of project.
  • Ensures a safe working environment and well‑being of associates.
  • Train and develop associates.
  • Track and document project status daily.

Bonitz, Inc. is looking for a full time, dynamic Foreman who has the capacity to lead and influence both internally and externally. The successful candidate will have the ability to develop and sustain long‑term relationships with general contractors, architects, designers, owners, end users, and internal team members. This person is an expert at learning and understanding the industry and manages overall implementation of multiple projects, safely and with high quality.

Founded in 1954, Bonitz, Inc. is an Employee‑Owned Company operating as specialty trade commercial contractors servicing the construction industry. Bonitz designs and installs custom flooring, walls, ceilings, and cladding systems. We offer access, terrazzo and other specialty flooring as well as floor care. We are committed to providing best in class project consulting, project management, and craftsmanship while delivering superior service and practical solutions. Bonitz has divisions in SC, NC, GA, TN, VA, LA, and FL.

  • Manages projects from “blueprints to completion” (including time lines)

Education/Experience and Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • 30‑hour OSHA certification
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction‑ dry wall, ceilings, and/or flooring preferred

Safety Requirements:
  • Ensure that all safety training and certifications are up to date or scheduled.
  • Stay compliant with all Bonitz safety polices to ensure a safe and efficient workplace.
  • Must be committed to working safely while accomplishing all tasks.
  • Up to date knowledge of requirements for necessary equipment and training per job.
