Job summary

Groundworks is seeking a Foreman to lead installation crews on foundation repair projects in the Liberty Lake area. You will own safety, quality, productivity, and team performance from start to finish, coordinating daily operations and mentoring crew members to deliver top-tier workmanship.

You’ll work with a national support team and manage time and budgets to keep projects on track. The role requires on-site leadership, problem-solving under pressure, and a proven ability to drive results

Qualifications

  • Experience leading crews or small teams.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to motivate a crew.
  • Basic construction or mechanical knowledge.
  • Must have a valid, non-restrictive driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a high-performance crew on local projects.
  • Review specifications and plan materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Assess job conditions on-site and assign duties to crew.
  • Install products with support from national specialists and ensure quality.
  • Troubleshoot on-site issues to meet standards and timelines.
  • Provide superior service while on-site and document final paperwork.
  • Supervise and train Installers and Co-Foreman on the job site.
  • Drive company vehicle to and from job sites daily.

The Foreman coordinates tasks and assignments based on work priority, schedules, objectives, and workforce availability. The Foreman monitors the progress of a project and keeps it on track from a time and budgetary standpoint. Candidates with experience in foundation repair, crawl space encapsulation, basement waterproofing, and concrete lifting solutions, and team leadership experience would be a great fit for this position.Duties and ResponsibilitiesLeads a high-performance team serving customers in a local market/area.Reviews job specifications to determine materials, tools, and equipment needed prior to reporting to the job site.Assesses conditions of the job once on-site; sets forth plans based on time allotment, tools needed, and order of work – assign duties to your crew for work to be performed.Installs products and services with the support of a national team of trained professionals.Innovates and troubleshoots situations as needed based on requirements to complete the job to meet company standards and timetables.Provides customers with superior quality and service while onsite performing work.Ensures all final documentation is done completely/accurately and is given to the proper parties.Supervises the crew and provides on-the-job training to Installers and Co-ForemanDrives the company-provided vehicle to and from the job site daily.It is an essential function of this job that the employee regularly and reliably reports to work on time each working day.QualificationsStrong communication skills, ability to motivate, and be a team player.Experience leading crews or small teamsBasic construction or mechanical knowledgeMust have a valid, non-restrictive driver’s license.Enters crawl spaces and other confined areasOther duties as assigned by the supervisorWorking ConditionsThe position lifts heavy objects and/or up to 50 lbs., walks and stands for long periods of time and performs strenuous physical labor.The employee lifts, pushes, pulls or carries objects; uses abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue; and effectively lifts and carries heavy loads.The position requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand and arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination.
