Job summary

Rocky Mountain Fence of Idaho is seeking an experienced Foreman to lead our installation crews on vinyl, cedar, and wrought iron fencing projects in Idaho. You will act as the primary on-site representative, manage project operations and ensure installation quality and customer satisfaction.

The role requires proven leadership, strong construction knowledge, and excellent communication to coordinate materials, sites, and stakeholders effectively.

Job Description: Foreman

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Foreman to join our fence building company. As the Foreman, you will play a crucial role in leading a crew, engaging with customers, and overseeing fence construction projects, primarily focusing on vinyl, cedar, and wrought iron fencing. Your exceptional leadership abilities, construction expertise, and customer service skills will contribute to the success of our team.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a crew and ensure smooth project operations on-site
  • Act as the primary representative of our company while engaging with customers
  • Prepare project sites and ensure proper setup for construction activities
  • Validate and verify customer requirements by walking the project site
  • Collaborate with the Assistant Foreman to ensure accurate fence construction
  • Coordinate the availability and readiness of materials for installation
  • Address and resolve unique situations encountered on the jobsite
  • Maintain effective communication and uphold the core processes of the company
Requirements
  • Proven experience in management, sales, customer service, and leadership
  • Strong knowledge of fence construction and related activities

Physical Requirements and Potential Exposures

Fence construction is a physically demanding job which is performed outdoors in varying weather conditions and temperature changes in all seasons of the year. This role involves repetitive and often prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, twisting, and lifting (up to 80 lbs). You may be exposed to construction and cleaning chemicals, noise and dust or fumes generated by concrete work, saws, grinders, drills, augers, and other equipment.
