Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking a Foreign-Trade Zone Coordinator in Fort Mill, SC for a hybrid role.

You will oversee day-to-day FTZ operations, support filings (CF214, 3461, 7501), maintain records, and ensure Customs compliance across multiple sites including Fort Mill and Northlake. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree with 2+ years trade compliance experience or 5 years FTZ administration, plus strong computer skills (SAP, Excel).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years trade compliance experience.
• Alternatively, 5 years FTZ administration experience and/or licensed customs broker credentials desirable.
• Strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and SAP/FTZ software familiarity.
• Excellent written and oral communication; team player who can work independently.
• Travel up to ~10% to necessary sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day FTZ operations for multiple locations.
• Open and manage FTZs, maintain records and ensure proper filings.
• Handle FTZ admissions (CF214) and weekly filings (3461, 7501) and documentation.

You’ll get to:* Responsible for the day-to-day operations of SBD FTZs.* Supports compliance in opening and managing Fort Mill, Fontana, Northlake and Hagerstown as an FTZC for both imports and exports.* Support receiving and inventory control, as well as understanding manufacturing (inverted tariffs), and domestic and export shipping.* Manages and processes daily FTZ Admissions (CF214) and weekly filings (3461, 7501), ensuring accurate Customs documentation and compliance.* Retrieves, prints, and distributes shipping documents from Cargo Manager or email to support daily zone admissions.* Maintains accurate records of product movements into and out of the FTZ, ensuring proper Customs filings and compliance.* Performs daily inventory reconciliation between SAP and FTZ software and troubleshoots discrepancies in collaboration with warehouse and MRP systems.* Supports FTZ software implementations, including working alongside the FTZ Manager to support compliance in opening and managing Northlake and Hagerstown DC and other locations as needed.* Maintains and retains FTZ files and records in accordance with Customs law, including weekly electronic backups.* Manages exports from FTZ (CF7512) and consults with DC personnel on export procedures and documentation.* Provides quarterly Harbor Maintenance Fee payments and participates in quarterly internal audits of Zone operations, reporting results to management.* Follows and maintains SOPs for FTZ tasks, updates the Operations Manual and exhibits, and maintains an audit system to verify site compliance.* Monitors FTZ savings, provides annual FTZ reports (Yearly Blanket CBP form 216, Annual Reconciliation, Certification Letter, FTZ Board Report), and acts as liaison with other functional areas to ensure accurate FTZ reporting and compliance.**The Person:**You love to learn and grow and be acknowledged for your valuable contributions.
