City Ford in Columbia City, Indiana is seeking a skilled Ford Service Technician to join our neighborhood shop where honesty and quality craftsmanship come first.

You will diagnose, maintain, and repair Ford vehicles using up-to-date diagnostic tools, work in a heated, air-conditioned shop, and grow with a team that treats each other like family.

Qualifications

• Ford certifications
• ASE certifications are highly valued.
• Current valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Personal set of tools to perform standard repair tasks.
• Basic computer skills for diagnostic software and service documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostic tests to pinpoint issues accurately on Ford vehicles.
• Execute routine maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Conduct complex repairs on engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
• Document all service work clearly to ensure our customers understand exactly what was done to their vehicle.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency for everyone in the shop.
• Collaborate with the service advisor team to communicate repair timelines and vehicle needs effectively.
