Job summary

Jenkins & Wynne, Inc. in Clarksville, TN is seeking a full-time Porter to greet customers, direct them to the right service adviser, and move vehicles as needed.

You will manage the lane flow, perform quick alignment checks on high-mileage vehicles, retrieve vehicles for customers, and operate shuttle runs or vehicle drops for repairs. Maintain clean work areas and assist with car washes and loaner check-ins as required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time and bending when necessary.
• Foot attire: Slip Resistant Shoes.

Responsibilities

• Perform alignment quick checks on vehicles over 12,000 miles.
• Retrieve customer vehicles at pickup.
• Operate company shuttle or drive customer vehicles for drop-off or repairs.
• Keep the lane clean and scrub floors as needed.
• Weave vehicles through carwash when necessary.
• Assist with loaner vehicle check-ins and retrievals.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by management.

Job Summary:

The Porter will greet customers as needed, direct to proper person when service advisor is not readily available, and move vehicles as needed.

• Moving of customers vehicles through the lane as to not let the lane get congested.
• Performing alignment quick check of all vehicles over 12,000 miles.
• Retrieval of customer’s vehicle when customer arrives for pick-up.
• Driving of company shuttle and or customer vehicle for the purpose of dropping customers off or having vehicle repaired.
• Keeping the lane clean, including use of floor scrubber on floor.
• Taking vehicles through carwash when necessary.
• Other miscellaneous duties as initiated by management.
• Checking in and retrieval of loaner vehicles.
