Job summary

Tom Wood Nissan in Indianapolis is seeking a Ford Certified Service Technician with ASE and Ford certifications. You will diagnose and repair vehicle systems, communicate with the Service Advisor, and perform work on repair orders with attention to warranty requirements.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver's license. We offer a supportive team, growth opportunities, and a flexible work schedule.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of service technician experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; ASE Certification required.
• Ford Certification and Ford dealership experience preferred.
• Dexterity and hand-eye coordination for precise work.
• Ability to diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about additional repairs and time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
