Job summary

A local automotive dealership in New Hampshire seeks a Ford-Certified Service Technician to perform diagnostic tests, repair automotive systems, and ensure customer satisfaction. Qualifications

• 2+ years of Service Technician experience recommended.
• Ford and/or Toyota certification a plus.
• ASE Certification a plus.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license.
• New Hampshire inspection license a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency.
• Test components and systems using diagnostic tools.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems.
• Communicate directly with Service Advisor regarding service needs.

Responsibilities

• Performs work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
• Tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnoses, maintains, and repairs vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning
• Communicates directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executes repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Service Technician experience recommended
• Ford and or Toyota certification a plus
• ASE Certification a plus
• Must hold a high school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent customer service skills
• Basic Computer skills
• Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality
• Enjoy working in a fast paced environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Team player
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• New Hampshire inspection license a plus
• Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
