Job summary

Sky Ford of Provo is seeking a Ford Certified Diesel Service Technician to perform repairs and maintenance on heavy-duty and medium-duty diesel vehicles in a fast-paced environment. You will provide technical service to vehicles, read job orders, and ensure safety and quality.

The role involves attending training, maintaining customer relations, and achieving production objectives. Qualified candidates have Ford Certification, at least 1 year of fleet or dealership experience, and prefer ASE and

Qualifications

Ford Certification is required to work as a Ford Certified Diesel Service Technician.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
ASE certification is preferred.
CDL certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment.
Read job order, observe and listen to vehicle in operation to resolve malfunction and plan work procedures.
Follow checklists ensuring all critical parts are examined.
Test-drive vehicles to ensure they run smoothly.
Attend training classes and keep tabs on factory technical bulletins.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to increase overall customer happiness.
