Jarrett Gordon Ford Lincoln in Winter Haven, FL is seeking a Ford Certified Diesel Service Technician to service and repair vehicles, and possibly perform pre-delivery checks on new units to ensure top condition for customers.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, an unrestricted driver's license, dealer-level or large facility experience, post-secondary automotive training, ASE certification (or willingness to obtain), and a proven track record of strong technical performance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Post high school tech school or ASE certification desired.
• One year of experience in a dealership or large facility repair organization.
• Three to five years of Ford Certified experience.
• An impressive work ethic.
• Neat, clean, and professional appearance.
• Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record.
• Can operate a standard-transmission vehicle.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose issues based on experience, analysis, and testing.
• Maintain knowledge of automotive diagnosis technology, manuals, and reference materials.
• Understand how vehicles' components interact.
• Perform routine service inspections and tests and lubricate engines and major components.
• Repair gasoline, electric, or alternative-fuel vehicles.
• Adapt to rapidly changing automotive diagnostic technologies.
