Job summary

Kent Parsons Ford Inc in Martinsburg, WV is seeking a Ford Certified Service Technician to join our service department. The role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles with accuracy and efficiency.

The ideal candidate holds Ford or OEM certification, has 2+ years of technician experience, strong customer service skills, and proficiency with diagnostic tools. We offer a stable, family-owned shop with growth opportunities and full-time hours.

Qualifications

2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred.
Ford Certification or OEM Certification required or preferred.
Previous experience at a Ford dealership is preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent.
B level qualifications including diagnostic, electrical and engine repair.

Responsibilities

Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
Test-drive vehicles and test components using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, suspension and brakes.
Communicate with the Service Advisor on needed additional work and time estimates.
Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
