Job summary

SwiftCruit is seeking an experienced electrical engineer in San Jose for hybrid work (4 days in office, Fridays remote) to design and integrate sensing hardware with mechanical and software teams. You will develop schematics, PCB layouts, BOMs, and fabrication notes while debugging boards and coordinating with vendors through mass production.

The role involves collaborating with OEMs on next-gen products, performing bench verification, and supporting early prototypes to full-scale production,

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in electronic design from concept to mass production.
• Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB layout tools.
• Hands-on analog/mixed-signal circuitry experience.
• Experience with ADCs, sensors, embedded design, firmware or I²C/SPI interfaces.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and/or Python.
• Experience writing technical documentation for hardware/software.
• Strong MS Office skills and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical solutions for mechanical, software integration and algorithm development.
• Create and test proof-of-concept demos and prototypes; perform PCB layout and fabrication.
• Coordinate with R&D and vendors to bring designs to mass production.
• Provide multidisciplinary technical support to customers from concept to production.
• Prepare technical documentation including datasheets and design guides.
• Collaborate with marketing and R&D to drive product improvements.
